Alright, there is a time for everything.
There is a time for duty!
But if something just doesn't feel right then Start Believing in your Seva!
What is Seva?
If you want to do your duty then do it. But do your duties with surrendering yourself to God. Think as though you are doing your duty to serve God.
Perform your duties and believe in your service to God.
Now, if you'd ask 'How does one do that?'
If you don't understand what I'm saying then you have to Read Gita.
It will change your perception of duty to Seva.
Whatever you do with your body(sharir) it is for serving the sansaar(world) and what you do with your shariri(soul) it is to serve God.
That's the difference between body and soul.
Why does one have to do Seva? Because if you serve the world then you'd have a lot of bandhan(dependency) with the world.
But when you perform your seva to God then there is no dependency. Because whatever your doing is for God.
Now how do you believe in that? Read Gita and you will find out.
So if you don't understand Seva then you may become anxious when you don't get results of your work. But when you do Seva then you don't worry about the results. You just believe in your Seva.
What happens when one does Seva, you automatically believe in your work because you are working for God.
This doesn't mean results are not important, they are but don't demand the fruits of your work. You don't have the right for that.
This doesn't mean that you don't need the fruits. If you perform well you will get the fruits.
Now one must perform his rightful duty without worrying about results.
Gita says that the world has the right to your rightful duty.
If you perform action without expectations of results then it's all gain and no loss.
If all this means a lot to you then read the Gita. You will get to know it in detail.
The world is full of people who don't believe in Seva and that's the whole problem here.
If everyone does his rightful duty then nothing is left to do.
Everyone will work and everyone will do their Seva.
Which is why you must start reading Gita.
It will help you change and you will not use the word duty.
You will call your work as Seva.
So, Will you read the Gita?
Radhe Radhe!
