What is the gain of reading the shastras - Part 36

So, you have a problem.

You keep on getting into the same arguments with people.

Your family is nagging you with what you ought to do in life.

People have been advising you to switch your careers. People want you  to change and transform into something else.

There is something wrong between people when they started debating or arguing about certain things in life.

Shastras, especially Gita will guide you with what is important and what is not important.

Do your own karma imperfectly than following other people's duty perfectly. This is mentioned in Gita.

Once you know what duty you are born for, that is where the debate and argument stops between people.

So, this solves the problem of endless debates.

So, the next step is making a plan for how you have to do your duty. Read the books that are important for your skills.

Once you workout a plan, make backup and ternary plans for your duty.

Do not tend to argue with people about the same conversation over and over.

Speak in these terms- 'Gita and God have guided me to do my duty in such manner.'

Once you make the plans, stay focused on your duty and proceed further without worrying about the results, fail, get up, bounce back and gradually you will succeed at some time.

Don't get angry on your family or others , don't debate, just be calm and composed and see if it helps others understand better.

If they don't understand you still, give them what they want first, and then ask for what you want from others. Connecting is all about others first.

Still, if things don't work well, then keep doing your karma and dharma.

One day you will achieve success.

If you focus on your duty, Bhakti, reading Gita, reading shastras, with kirtan and chanting, you will stay in High Spirits.

Don't get into jealous thoughts about others, why does he have this and that, why don't I have that. Don't! Stop!

Get into Krishna Consciousness and do your duty imperfectly because this is your dharma.

So, will you continue debating with your families endlessly. Say this to them - 'Don't be so adamant about things.'

Still, if people debate even further, tell them - ' I have faith in God and I have surrendered myself to God. Also tell them everything that is happening is happening for the best.'

So, will you argue endlessly? No!

Follow the above procedure and live your life everyday with Krishna Consciousness.
