What is the gain of reading the shastras - Part 26

Alright, this post is on Puranas.

If you have read the Puranas then I understand your excitement and your journey with Puranas.

However just in case if you haven't read them, then I have this post especially for you.

The Puranas have their own thrill and it will give you the greatest strength while you read them.

Just try holding the Puranas, and it will give you strength, the hardcover binding, the printing font, just hold a Purana and it will give you power, How? Because this is Bhakti, Faith, Belief in God.

And if you don't get the strength in holding them, then try to gauge why is this so?

God gives strength to us from his devotees, his shastras, his saints, that might be helpful to give you the strength. Once you respect the saints and their shastras, that might give you the strength forever, indefinitely.

I started reading my first shastra with Shiva Purana, and it makes one pure. Then followed by Agni, Vishnu, and other Puranas.

These shastras are the jewels of Hindu Religion. They mention the gain of reading them just at the beginning of each Purana.

They have the knowledge given to us by the ancient people in history, the rituals, the creation, maintenance and destruction done by the Gods.

The short stories that help people through the Kaliyuga era. These lessons are the right inspiration one can get from reading them.

The Shastras of Gitapress Gorakhpur Books are perfect, and just holding them influences you in a manner unimaginable.

Just experience the thrill of shastra by just holding them.

And if you don't feel the strength, then try reading a shastra. It will definitely be felt.

There is nothing like reading the Puranas. Once you finish through one purana then you will know the gyan in these shastras, they are unforgettable, unavoidable to think about them, and irresistible to speak about them.

The Puranas journey will take you to another level. Another level of excitement.

Don't worry if you finish the Puranas, Gitapress has a lot of books written by the great saints.

The Puranas are my set of Greatest Shastras I have ever read.

These books will take you to another level of Bhakti, they will guide you  through good and tough times.

The Puranas can be read in any order, by any person, at any age.

Shastras are meant to be read at the earliest date possible and must be respected and followed in the way given to us.

Don't postpone reading the shastras at another date. Read them with focused mindset, and must be completed so that you can spread this gyan.

Puranas will give you greatest strength and you will become a Religious person after completing them.

So start at the earliest day possible and make a planned schedule to read them.

Your life will get sorted out and this is one of the most important gains of Puranas.

And just in case of you haven't read the Gita, then this book is the greatest gain of the shastras. Bhagavad Gita by Srila Prabhupada or Sadhak Sanjivani by Swami Ramsukhdasji, these 2 books are the world's greatest books in history.
