See, if you are a respectable human being, then you can influence others and become their friend. Once you are their friend you can achieve results by influencing and nurturing them.

Sooner, you will see the team display results when you work with them. You will respect the team and earn your respect.

If you know that you have found your answers of life and are ready to be a part of a team as a leader then that will automatically motivate you to become a leader.

Okay, even if you won't achieve results then you will set an example for others to follow and learn from your mistakes and inspire others to move ahead.

Even if you won't achieve results then that won't depress you because the Gita says detach yourself from results and do your duty.

If someone has given you the chance to become a leader then he has thought over it and is willing to give you a chance as a leader and consider it a good fortune. Consider it as altruism which means do great deeds in life.

And what if your boss is just testing you to find out do you want to become a leader? That's a concern for your boss. Maybe he is just seeing if you are important to do business with him. Now what if you react by saying I can't achieve results, then that will put you in trouble.

So don't let it boil down to that, you will become a respectable human being by reading the shastras.

A lot of people can agree that if they had read the shastras in early stages of life then they would have seen the world with a different perspective and they would see the world with a life changing event.

Even, if you won't get results then let that be a learning experience for yourself and others so that next time it will help achieve results.

Think in this manner, if you can be an influential person and be a respectable human being and be of some benefit for people, consider it a good fortune for yourself.

Don't get any negative emotion, like hatred, jealousy, bitterness, selfish, or any other bad quality affect you. Get rid of such qualities and help others move ahead.

If people like Srila Prabhupada can create Krishna Consciousness and influence foreigners to become dedicated Devotees of Krishna, and write Gita the way Srila Prabhupada spoke to them then why can't we set an example and help others in their great mission of life.

Do not worry about success or failure as a leader, enjoy your life with rejoicing every moment of your life. Whatever we do, we have to be happy unconditionally and spread happiness with others.

Don't forget to create other leaders as you move ahead.

Life will give you many chances as a leader and will help you be a better human being.

Do not make a wrong perception about leadership, that make your life's challenges.

What if God steps down and asks you why didn't you become a leader? Would that give you pain?

We all can be a part of the crew and we will move ahead even if we don't become a leader, just keep doing great deeds in life and we will be successful.

God gave us this wonderful life and helped us be a respectable human being, so there is no harm in becoming a leader if we get a chance to be someday. Just see leadership, in your mind first, see it with clarity, then you will see how to be a successful leader in this world.

If God descended down to help mankind and spread love in this world then why can't we spread love and help others become better.

Why can't we become leaders and create maximum impact?

You never know what you can do in this life. Believe that you can do heroic deeds and set an example for others.

A life lived for others is worth living even if the others are strangers.

A leader is respected even after he is not in the mortal world, and he is never forgotten and his gyan is always with the world.

Srila Prabhupada is remembered by his followers and he lives with his followers, and has created maximum impact.

No better way than to start your New Year.
