Does Reading The Shastras Change One Phenomenally or Radically?

Alright, This post is for people who doubt that the shastras change one Phenomenally or Radically!

See, the shastras help people in a particular way, but up to what extent!

But it is not like you are not aware about the concerns of shastras, you might have heard the concerns from the world, because you are living in a real and dynamic world!

The shastras are there and they will keep you engaged, more importantly I find them exhilarating!

The shastras are appealing to very few people and they are our rare and ancient books!

Shastras should be read with an eager mind!

And it's like you could miss out on some great gyan!

But it's not like you might have not heard about the gyan in them!

And not all must be aware about them, some people might live in ignorance!

Now you may ask what am I ignorant about?

If you don't even know the most confidential message that God is everything, then this is the no.1 missing piece of your life, and I believe you know this secret!

Next, everyone is equal to God, now some might argue on this, but it's given in Bhagavatam!

Next, the four classes of men stands true in the world, and a lot of shudras might disagree to this!

Next,  the shastras have the epic stories, The Ramayana, The Mahabharata, Bhagavad Puran, but you might have seen Radhakrishna, Mahadeva, Shiva Shakti, etc. You might be aware about the stories in them!

So, What's the point of this post?

Should one read the shastras?

The Simple answer to it is that it is on your taste or choice!

Maybe you might be missing out on a lot!

Frankly, I enjoy reading the shastras, and it is a great experience!

So what's the point of reading them?

One should read them to know what is contained in them!

If you are going to Read the shastras, to know what you already know about them, for example, the lessons of Ramayana and Mahabharata- stop! Don't stereotype the shastras!

One must read the shastras to Read what's contained in them!

If you will just pre-meditate to Read what you already know and find the same lessons that you have heard about them, then that's the whole mistake!

Read to know what's contained in them!

After that, you can decide what you want to do with them, whether you'd like to talk about them, or write about them, or maybe entice someone to Read them!

To give you an honest suggestion - I read them to improve my gyan, Improving my Hindi and Sanskrit language, or just to satisfy my curiosity about the gyan in them!

So, maybe you'd like to read them or maybe you'd just want to know what's contained in them!

But don't just read and forget them!

Do not waste your precious time by just enjoying reading a shastra quickly, like one reads a novel!

It's not like that!

It's only going to make you look like a monkey!

Talk about the shastras!

Write about the shastras!

Contemplate the pastimes of God!

And see how bright and radiant you'd feel everyday!

If you are in touch with someone who has read the shastras, then probably it's better to talk to them about the shastras!

I would advice you to at least try reading Gita first!

After completing Gita, you'd automatically know if you find the shastras interesting!

So, don't stereotype the shastras, don't pre-meditate about what's contained in them!

Just enjoy your experience with them!

I am a living example of what's contained in them!

And it keeps me in High Spirits!

So, do the shastras change one phenomenally or radically?

My answer is Yes!

It will change you right from the inner core and move towards externally!

You will be in Krishna Consciousness, You will see the world in motion!

Hence, will you read the shastras?

The decision is yours!

Know Yourself!
